Justin Timberlake Faces Fans After Drunk-Driving Charge: ‘It’s Been a Tough Week’

In his first public appearance since his arrest for driving while intoxicated, Justin Timberlake addressed a packed crowd at the United Center in Chicago, expressing gratitude for their unwavering support. The pop star, visibly emotional, opened up about his recent struggles during the concert on Friday, just three days after his arrest on June 18.

“We’ve been together through ups and downs, lefts and rights,” Timberlake told his fans. “It’s been a tough week, but you’re here and I’m here, and nothing can change this moment right now.”

Timberlake continued, “I know sometimes I’m hard to love – but you keep on loving me, and I love you right back.”

The arrest occurred in Sag Harbor, New York, where Timberlake was stopped twice in one night by rookie officer Michael Arkinson. Initially, Timberlake was warned and expected to find another way home. However, minutes later, he was spotted driving again and was pulled over for running a stop sign and drifting out of his lane at around 12:17am.

According to the police report, Timberlake exhibited signs of intoxication, including bloodshot eyes, the smell of alcohol, and poor performance on sobriety tests. Despite claiming he had only one martini, Timberlake refused to take a Breathalyzer test three times.

Officer Arkinson, who has gained notoriety for his strict enforcement of traffic laws, faced backlash for the arrest. However, Sag Harbor village police stood by the report, detailing Timberlake’s condition and behavior during the incident.

This arrest adds to a string of unflattering headlines for Timberlake, who has been under scrutiny since Britney Spears’ 2023 memoir. Spears accused Timberlake of pressuring her to abort a pregnancy during their relationship, describing a painful at-home procedure while he attempted to console her with a guitar.

Timberlake, who has admitted to struggles with excessive drinking, also faced criticism for the infamous 2004 Super Bowl incident with Janet Jackson and his public apology to wife Jessica Biel after being seen with actress Alisha Wainwright in 2019.

Despite these controversies, Timberlake’s fans showed their steadfast support, cheering him on as he delivered a heartfelt performance. As Timberlake works through this challenging time, his connection with his audience remains a beacon of strength.

Lindsay Lohan's younger days photos

Lately, I have been following some of the celebrity news and Lohan is one of them....given the rehab swap that is on the news.  But really, what turns an innocent young child into such a troubled life (so to say). I am not sure what happen along the way but looking back at the old photos, you just somehow have the belief and hope of her coming out strong again. We are definitely not going to have the young, innocent Lindsay Lohan again but at least we're hoping for her recovery in the rehab center.

Ex-government operative Bryan Mills starting to show his age in this third installment of the Taken series - I can swear that I heard his panting almost every breath taking scene, which makes the acting by Liam Neeson real. In this series, Bryan Mills is hoping to reconcile with his ex-wife, Lenore St. John who is said to be not happy with her current husband. Superman’ Review: A Charming but Chaotic Attempt to Restart the DCU with Heart — and a Lot of Noise

James Gunn’s   Superman   had one job — to kickstart a brand-new DC Universe with clarity, confidence, and purpose. What we got instead is a quirky, overstuffed spectacle that bounces between heartfelt sincerity and Saturday morning cartoon mayhem, never quite settling into a rhythm strong enough to lift this hero off the ground. On paper, it all sounds promising:   Superman   skips the tired origin story and dives straight into Clark Kent’s third year as Earth’s protector. David Corenswet brings a sincere, wide-eyed charm to the role — equal parts Boy Scout and alien outcast — while Rachel Brosnahan’s Lois Lane is, without a doubt, the best we’ve ever seen on screen. Their chemistry crackles, especially in the film’s most grounded scene: a sharp interview that pits Lois’ hard-nosed journalism against Superman’s unwavering optimism. In that moment, you can almost feel the movie it   could   have been — thoughtful, conflicted, real. Unfortunately, tho...
