Lucy [Review]

Lucy might be just a girl next door, but in the movie Lucy - Lucy was dating a guy with bad influence and give her a simple job to do - deliver a mysterious briefcase to Mr. Jang. But all hell break loose when Mr. Jang's guys capture Lucy and shot her boyfriend who was waiting right outside the hotel room.

It turned out that the briefcase contain a new and powerful synthetic drug. Lucy is then turned into a drug mule for the new and powerful drug with few other guys to few different areas around the globe. When the bag she is carrying inside of her stomach leaks, Lucy's body undergoes unimaginable changes that unlocks her mind's full potential and with this new found power, Lucy turns into a merciless warrior intent on getting back at her captors.

With the cerebral stimulated growth, she is expecting herself to be dead soon and seek the advice from the renown professor, Professor Norman on her situation. At the same time, she is busy rounding up the drug mule with the help of one French police, captain Pierre Del Rio.

This is a sci-fi movie which I find interesting, although the movie is seriously short roughly ninety minutes playtime - and to be honest, not everyone will like the movie, especially the ending and the duration; but to me it actually make sense. I did not write about the ending because then it will be spoiler for those who plan to watch the movie.

Mission Impossible 4: Ghost Protocol

Anyone who has already watched Mission Impossible 4: Ghost Protocol would have notice that Mission Impossible 4 is a little bit different from the previous three Mission Impossible(s). I am not sure why there are many critics on Tom Cruise acting, but to me, he is ok. I mean, I know a lot of times, they are saying that Mission Impossible is like talking about himself, but I really beg to differ. Mission Impossible is not really about Tom Cruise alone, I mean he is the leader, he do most of the dangerous work, but behind him is a group of capable secret agents who can support him in all the missions. Anyway, back to Mission Impossible 4: Ghost Protocol. The story started with a chase on a roof in one of a building in Budapest and the agent look so cool when he jumped down and look upwards to shoot the chasers.....but however, was later assassinated by a female assassin. Then we have Ethan Hunt break a prison from Russia with the help of IMF agents and proceed to accept a mission to infi...

[Review] Taken 3

Ex-government operative Bryan Mills starting to show his age in this third installment of the Taken series - I can swear that I heard his panting almost every breath taking scene, which makes the acting by Liam Neeson real. In this series, Bryan Mills is hoping to reconcile with his ex-wife, Lenore St. John who is said to be not happy with her current husband. The reconciliation however cut short when she was brutally murdered. Bryan Mills was frame for the murder of Lenore and consumed with rage, he go on hiding to evade the CIA, FBI and the police and he intended to track down the murderer on his own with his skills. It doesn't take long before he realized that the murderer is from the group of Russians, which then leads him to his ex-wife husband - and he interrogates him until he told how he was forced to cooperate with the Russians which might target Bryan's daughter, Kim. So, in order to protect his daughter while he revenge, he gets help from his friends to bri...

Linkin Park’s Explosive Comeback: ‘The Emptiness Machine’ Dominates Rock Charts

Linkin Park is back, and they're making waves! Their latest single,  "The Emptiness Machine,"  has shot to the top of all Billboard’s rock radio charts in record time. This comeback track wasted no time climbing to No. 1, making it one of the fastest-rising hits in rock history. This week,  "The Emptiness Machine"  took the top spot on the Mainstream Rock Airplay chart, marking Linkin Park’s eleventh No. 1 on that list. With this new achievement, the band now holds the ninth-most No. 1 hits in the history of the chart, and they’re closing in on Disturbed’s record of 12 top-charting songs. Shinedown still holds the record for the most No. 1 hits with 19, followed by Three Days Grace with 17. But Linkin Park’s momentum shows no sign of slowing down. This new single marks their third consecutive No. 1 hit on the Mainstream Rock Airplay chart, following last year’s smash  "Lost,"  which dominated for eight weeks, and  "Friendly Fire,"  released e...
