Shia Labeouf, one of my favourite

Well, I'm sure all of us have someone that we look up to as we watch Hollywood movies or Hong Kong TVB...maybe some Bollywood as well? Anyway, regardless of the type of movies that you watch, I'm sure there is one actor or actress that somehow caught your attention.

There is one actor that I consider as one of my favourites, Shia LaBeouf. Honestly, it is a name that is difficult to pronounce and remember but it's a face that we all got used to...most people know him through the movie, Transformers.

But well, he was already a star at a young age in fact, starring in Disney movies. (those of you who are not Disney fans will not recognize him).

Check out his younger days...

Well, that was then...check out his looks now...

In his Disney career, he was already an awesome actor, one that bring us laughter most of the time...comedy, that's right! At the age of 10, LaBeouf was already a stand up comedian. Apparently, it was his way to escape a hostile environment. In the early 2000, he was known among young audiences as Louis Stevens in the Disney Channel weekly program, Even Stevens. In 2003, he appeared in Holes and 2 years later, he co-starred with Keanu Reeves in the movie "Constantine".

His breakthrough came when he starred in the movie "Disturbia". It was that movie that helped him get rid of the "funny guy" tagline. The Buffalo News says that he is able to simultaneously pull off the character's anger, remorse and intelligence. I fully agreed on that review...the movie was just amazing with LaBeouf. After that, we have "Transformers".

There were some flops as well...like the one where he played Mutt Williams, Indiana Jones' greaser son in Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull. There is also Eagle Eye. While some people had a lot to critic, I find LaBeouf exceptionally awesome in his expression throughout the movie.

Then, there is the "Wall Street: Money Never Sleep"

He is in the movie Lawless and will co-star with Brad Pitt in the World War II-set film, Fury. There are apparently some conflict between the two but one thing that I must give you is that LaBeouf is very serious in his acting and he is good, whether he play the funny guy, serious person who is on business or when he is just some young adult with a lot of issues. That's what he brings to the screen. Simply, an amazing actor!
