The Smurfs

Finally have a chance to watch The Smurfs in the big screen on Saturday afternoon with a friend of mine. For those who thought the Smurfs was anything new, the Smurfs actually was a cartoon series that the people from my generation might have watched it during our schooldays. The cartoon series involved group of blue fictional characters called Smurfs, mostly males and these characters are very short, only three apple high. Almost all characters look essentially alike with blue skin, white trousers with a hole for their short tails, white hat in the style of a Phrygian cap, and sometimes some additional accessory that identifies a personality.

Back to the movie, the Smurfs were enjoying their happy life, as always and are preparing for the Blue Moon festival; and Papa Smurf has a vision that the Smurfs will be captured by the evil wizard named Gargamel and the whole event actually caused by Clumsy Smurf, thus when Clumsy asked Papa permission to pick up some herbs nearby Gargamel's castle, Papa Smurf rejected the idea.

Well, of course Clumsy ignore Papa's advice to stay home, and while picking up these herbs, he stumbled upon Gargamel and chase by him. In his desperation, Clumsy unintentionally revealed the location of the Smurfs' Village.

When the evil wizard Gargamel chases the tiny blue Smurfs out of their village, they tumble from their magical world and into our world. The chase did not stop there, Gargamel follow the Smurfs out to our world and this is where Clumsy accidentally fell into a box which belongs to Patrick Winslow and the other Smurfs have no choice but to follow him to his house in order to rescue Clumsy.

And well, the Smurfs met Patrick and his wife, and his wife loves them and allows these cute blue creatures to stay at their home while they find the way back to their magical world.

Hmm....I guess I'm not going to spoil it for those who has yet to watch The Smurfs, but I reckoned that the movie is best watch in 3D although I just watch it in 2D. The movie is definitely a great one with many funny scenes and enjoyable for one big family to watch.

Mission Impossible 4: Ghost Protocol

Anyone who has already watched Mission Impossible 4: Ghost Protocol would have notice that Mission Impossible 4 is a little bit different from the previous three Mission Impossible(s). I am not sure why there are many critics on Tom Cruise acting, but to me, he is ok. I mean, I know a lot of times, they are saying that Mission Impossible is like talking about himself, but I really beg to differ. Mission Impossible is not really about Tom Cruise alone, I mean he is the leader, he do most of the dangerous work, but behind him is a group of capable secret agents who can support him in all the missions. Anyway, back to Mission Impossible 4: Ghost Protocol. The story started with a chase on a roof in one of a building in Budapest and the agent look so cool when he jumped down and look upwards to shoot the chasers.....but however, was later assassinated by a female assassin. Then we have Ethan Hunt break a prison from Russia with the help of IMF agents and proceed to accept a mission to infi

Both teams are under immense pressure, albeit for different reasons, and the outcome of this game could have far-reaching consequences for their respective seasons. Manchester United’s Early Struggles Manchester United’s start to the season has been anything but smooth. Erik ten Hag, in his second season at the helm, faces one of his most challenging moments yet. With two losses in the opening three games, including a humbling 3-0 defeat to bitter rivals Liverpool, the Red Devils find themselves in a precarious position. Ten Hag, who led United to an FA Cup triumph last season, is under increasing scrutiny, with questions surrounding his tactical approach, squad management, and overall vision for the club. One of the biggest issues for United has been their defensive fragility. Despite significant investment in the transfer market, in
