[Review] Batman VS Superman: Dawn of Justice

The movie begins with the flashback of Bruce Wayne (Ben Affleck) of his childhood when his parents were brutally murdered in Gotham, which finally transform this young kid to become the Dark Knight. And then it's been almost two years since the Superman's colossal battle with General Zod devastated the city of Metropolis which lead to the loss of life and collateral damage left many feeling angry and helpless, including crime-fighting billionaire Bruce Wayne.

That is how Batman VS Superman: Dawn of Justice started off. The 152 minutes movie showing Batman/Bruce Wayne who somehow has some of the vision of the future that Superman is a threat to mankind intend to end his reign on Earth started to study Superman or Kryptonians. And then, the conniving Lex Luthor (Jesse Eisenberg) who is also started his crusade against the Man of Steel.

Finally, we have the battle of all time, Son of Krypton vs the Bat of Gotham, and with his study, the Dark Knight has the upper hand in the end, but I found that Zack Snyder is quite details and link them together via their mother's name, Martha. Batman nearly kill Superman before Superman pleads for him to save Martha - and the Dark Knight come to senses and realized that Superman was not a threat. Upon learning of Luthor's plan, Batman leaves to rescue Martha while Superman confronts Luthor, who unleashes a monstrous artificially bred creature - Doomsday made with Kryptonian technology on the crashed ship.

Superman and Batman join forces to fight Doomsday, joined by Wonder Woman (Gal Gadot) but the three are outmatched due to the creature's ability to absorb and redirect energy. Realizing that their shared Kryptonian DNA results in shared vulnerabilities, Superman retrieves the kryptonite spear and impales the creature with it, while the creature stabs Superman with his bone protrusions, seemingly killing him. The movie conclude with Bruce Wayne telling Diana Prince that he plan to unite all other meta humans, seemingly because of his vision - and this could eventually lead to Justice League.

[Lyrics] I won't Tell A Soul by Charlie Puth

I won't Tell a Soul by Charlie Puth

Oh darling, I know you're taken
Something bout this
Just don't feel right
Every time
One of us, tries to leave here
Oh the other one
Holds on tight

Oh oh

Baby tonight
There's so much love in between us
But you say you gotta get home
Stay here with me
I won't tell a soul

You tell me someone's
Waiting for ya
That you can't do this anymore
But you kiss me again
So go ahead and
Draw the blinds and
Lock all the doors

Baby tonight
There's so much love in between us
You say you gotta get home
Stay here with me
I won't tell a soul

Oh if you want me
Like I want you
I won’t judge you
This could be our little secret
Our secret

So tell me if you're ready
'Cause if no one knows then
It ain’t really cheating

Oh darling I
Know you're taken
But something 'bout this
Just feels so right

Oh baby
'cause every time
One of us, tries to justify the situation
We just hold on tighter

Oh oh

Baby tonight
There's so much love in between us
You say you gotta get home
Stay here with me
I won't tell a soul
