Suri Cruise Embraces New Identity with Heartfelt Tribute to Mom Katie Holmes

In a touching nod to her mother, Suri Cruise has adopted a new name, leaving behind her famous last name amid her estrangement from dad, Tom Cruise. The 18-year-old, now known as Suri Noelle, revealed her new moniker during her high school graduation last week. This change highlights her close bond with mom Katie Holmes, as Noelle is Katie’s middle name.

Suri, the sole child of Katie, 45, and Tom, 61, showcased her new identity during her role as Morticia Addams in her school's production of "The Addams Family: A New Musical" last December. This name change is seen as Suri’s way of forging her own path, especially with her father’s absence from her life for the past decade.

Sources revealed that Suri is set to attend Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh this fall, with a keen interest in fashion. Carnegie Mellon’s School of Design is among the top-ranked programs in the country, setting a perfect stage for Suri’s artistic aspirations. The teen has always been determined to carve out her own future, applying to several colleges with a strong focus on the arts.

Despite her father’s physical absence, Tom Cruise has fulfilled his financial obligations, ensuring Suri’s needs are met, including her college expenses. However, Suri’s upbringing has largely been under the loving guidance of Katie, who is reportedly both proud and protective of her daughter’s achievements.

Katie and Tom, who married in 2006 in a lavish Scientologist ceremony in Italy, have had a tumultuous relationship, particularly around the Church of Scientology. Katie’s decision to leave both the marriage and the church in 2012 was driven by her desire to protect Suri from the church’s influence, a move that caused a significant rift between her and Tom.

Throughout her upbringing, Suri has thrived in New York City, surrounded by a close-knit group of friends and a supportive mother. As she steps into this new chapter of her life, embracing her individuality and her mother’s legacy, Suri Noelle is set to shine brightly, carrying with her the strength and resilience instilled by Katie Holmes.

Superman’ Review: A Charming but Chaotic Attempt to Restart the DCU with Heart — and a Lot of Noise

James Gunn’s   Superman   had one job — to kickstart a brand-new DC Universe with clarity, confidence, and purpose. What we got instead is a quirky, overstuffed spectacle that bounces between heartfelt sincerity and Saturday morning cartoon mayhem, never quite settling into a rhythm strong enough to lift this hero off the ground. On paper, it all sounds promising:   Superman   skips the tired origin story and dives straight into Clark Kent’s third year as Earth’s protector. David Corenswet brings a sincere, wide-eyed charm to the role — equal parts Boy Scout and alien outcast — while Rachel Brosnahan’s Lois Lane is, without a doubt, the best we’ve ever seen on screen. Their chemistry crackles, especially in the film’s most grounded scene: a sharp interview that pits Lois’ hard-nosed journalism against Superman’s unwavering optimism. In that moment, you can almost feel the movie it   could   have been — thoughtful, conflicted, real. Unfortunately, tho...

[Review] Taken 3

Ex-government operative Bryan Mills starting to show his age in this third installment of the Taken series - I can swear that I heard his panting almost every breath taking scene, which makes the acting by Liam Neeson real. In this series, Bryan Mills is hoping to reconcile with his ex-wife, Lenore St. John who is said to be not happy with her current husband. The reconciliation however cut short when she was brutally murdered. Bryan Mills was frame for the murder of Lenore and consumed with rage, he go on hiding to evade the CIA, FBI and the police and he intended to track down the murderer on his own with his skills. It doesn't take long before he realized that the murderer is from the group of Russians, which then leads him to his ex-wife husband - and he interrogates him until he told how he was forced to cooperate with the Russians which might target Bryan's daughter, Kim. So, in order to protect his daughter while he revenge, he gets help from his friends to bri...

Mission Impossible 4: Ghost Protocol

Anyone who has already watched Mission Impossible 4: Ghost Protocol would have notice that Mission Impossible 4 is a little bit different from the previous three Mission Impossible(s). I am not sure why there are many critics on Tom Cruise acting, but to me, he is ok. I mean, I know a lot of times, they are saying that Mission Impossible is like talking about himself, but I really beg to differ. Mission Impossible is not really about Tom Cruise alone, I mean he is the leader, he do most of the dangerous work, but behind him is a group of capable secret agents who can support him in all the missions. Anyway, back to Mission Impossible 4: Ghost Protocol. The story started with a chase on a roof in one of a building in Budapest and the agent look so cool when he jumped down and look upwards to shoot the chasers.....but however, was later assassinated by a female assassin. Then we have Ethan Hunt break a prison from Russia with the help of IMF agents and proceed to accept a mission to infi...
