The Tourist

I watched The Tourist on New Year together with my sister and brother. We actually bought the ticket quite last minute, but because we are smarter, we bought the ticket online, thus we do not have to queue at the long line in TGV Kinta City.

Back to the movie.....the reason we actually wanted to watch The Tourist is because of Johnny Depp, well maybe Angelina Jolie as well, but mainly Johnny Depp. Why we like this guy is because he can act psycho people so real like the Demon Barber, Sweeney Todd.

Ok, back to the movie again. This is a remake of a French Film, Anthony Zimmer. Overall, I would say that this movie lack suspense given it is under the category of thriller and action. The movie don't have all the crash, boom, bang that I was hoping; but turn out there is nothing as such. Nevertheless, it is still an interesting movie to watch.

The story revolves Elise (Angelina Jolie) randomly sits opposite to an American tourist, Frank (Johnny Depp), an ordinary maths teacher on a train to Venice. The police force has been on Elise's trail for over two years waiting for her to contact her lover, Alexander Pierce, who embezzled over $2 Billion from a mobster. The British Economic Police want to collect its share (via taxes) of over $775 Million to be paid on this money. No one knows how Alexander Pierce looks like, except the fact that he has undergo plastic surgery to change his look.

Frank (not knowing what is happening) and Elise must evade the police; and at the same time from the mobster whose money was stolen - this happens due to corruption, as we can see in the movie, there are people working for the mobster inside the police force, another scene is where the police sells Frank to the mobster.

I guess that is enough as I do not want to spoil the ending for those who has yet to watch the movie.

Lindsay Lohan's younger days photos

Lately, I have been following some of the celebrity news and Lohan is one of them....given the rehab swap that is on the news.  But really, what turns an innocent young child into such a troubled life (so to say). I am not sure what happen along the way but looking back at the old photos, you just somehow have the belief and hope of her coming out strong again. We are definitely not going to have the young, innocent Lindsay Lohan again but at least we're hoping for her recovery in the rehab center.
