Lone Survivor [Review]

Yesterday I watched Lone Survivor with a friend after I read that the movie is based on a true story written by a retired United States Navy SEAL, Marcus Luttrell on the Operation Red Wings - and I got to admit, I really like the movie. The actions are so real, the pain, the injury are so real until sometimes I have to bite my teeth watching. The movie begins by introducing the main casts of the story, Marcus Luttrell (Mark Wahlberg), Michael 'Mike' Murphy (Taylor Kitsch), Danny Dietz (Emile Hirsch), and Matt 'Axe' Axelson (Ben Foster) in the US Military base in Afghanistan and  not long after some brief introduction of the main characters, they were told to go for a briefing on a mission to capture or kill notorious al-Qaeda leader Ahmad Shahd. And so the Operation Red Wings begin with the Marcus Luttrell and team reached the destination but having difficulty contacting the base and the team is expected to have communication problem. The team rest but after som...

Delivery Man [Review]

I got to admit...I really love comedy movie....especially the Hollywood's one, with a lot of beautiful stories to learn from.  Delivery Man is one of those....well, it's predictable, nothing new but it helps to give a good laughter and lift one up. A movie that I'll recommend to anyone who wanna watch with their friends or even loved ones. DELIVERY MAN Synopsis: “Delivery Man” is a story about an affable underachiever David Wozniak (Vince Vaughn), whose mundane life gets twisted in a knot when he finds out that he fathered 533 children via sperm donations he made twenty years earlier. In debt to the mob, rejected by his pregnant girlfriend, things couldn’t look worse for David when he’s hit with a lawsuit from 142 of the 533 twenty somethings who want to know the identity of the donor. As David struggles to decide whether or not he should reveal his true identity, he embarks on a journey that leads him to discover not only his true self but the father he could be...

She's the Man [Review]

The other day while I had nothing much to do, I decided to watch some old movies, preferably the comedy genre. I happened to find this movie: She's the Man . The title sound familiar but I forgot where I saw it before....after googling it, I realized that it was the movie by Amanda Bynes where she impersonate her twin brother so that she could played in the boys soccer team.  Anyway, I never thought the movie would be good but I'm glad I watched it. It was indeed an awesome movie, with a lot of jokes and I got to admit, Amanda Bynes was good. Throughout the entire movie, Amanda Bynes was simply a lovable character.  Bynes plays Viola, the twin sister of Sebastian (James Kirk), who at the start of the movie conveniently sneaks away to London for two weeks without telling anybody. Viola is the star of the girls' soccer team at Cornwall Prep, a school that seems to have enough money to supply every girl with her own soccer team. She thinks she's good enough to play for...

[Lyrics] Young Girls by Bruno Mars

I always feel that Bruno Mars is an awesome singer...his vocal is incomparable to all the existing artists (maybe besides the late Michael Jackson), his choice of music (most of the time an alternative to the popular hits) and yet the music has always been amazing.  BRUNO MARS And I love the way he put it: Unorthodox Jukebox.  Anyway, this is about one of his songs that hit me and captured my attention immediately. Young Girls I spent all my money on a big old fancy car For these bright-eyed honies Oh, yeah, you know who you are Keep me up 'til the sun is high 'Til the birds start calling my name I'm addicted and I don't know why Guess I've always been this way [PRE-CHORUS] All these roads steer me wrong But I still drive them all night long, all night long [CHORUS] All you young wild girls You make a mess of me Yeah, you young wild girls You'll be the death of me, the death of me All you young wild girls No matter what ...
