Police Story 2013 [Review]

Well, I have never missed on any of the Police Story series by Jackie Chan and I make sure that I did not missed out on the latest one even though there are a lot of negative reviews on the movies. Police Story 2013 is a reboot of the Police Story series, ditching the Chan Ka-Hui persona from the first four Police Story series and Chan Kwok-Wing from the New Police Story. While there are a lot of negative reviews on the movies, I must said....it's actually not that bad. It's just not good enough. First of all, one thing that Jackie really pull out of this movie is to prove movie critic, James Berardinelli who once said of Jackie's style in Police Story as an "action with a smile, not a grimace". In Police Story 2013, it is very heavy on grimacing...in fact, it's probably a bit too much. The movie is "grim and gritty". Well, I'm sure all of us have someone that we look up to as we watch Hollywood movies or Hong Kong TVB...maybe some Bollywood as well? Anyway, regardless of the type of movies that you watch, I'm sure there is one actor or actress that somehow caught your attention.  There is one actor that I consider as one of my favourites, Shia LaBeouf. Honestly, it is a name that is difficult to pronounce and remember but it's a face that we all got used to...most people know him through the movie, Transformers. But well, he was already a star at a young age in fact, starring in Disney movies. (those of you who are not Disney fans will not recognize him). Check out his younger days... Well, that was then...check out his looks now... In his Disney career, he was already an awesome actor, one that bring us laughter most of the time...comedy, that's right! At the age of 10, LaBeouf was already a stand up comedian. Apparently, it was his way to escape a h
